About Seahorse Analytics
Seahorse Analytics' core specialty is solving ill-defined business problems which are often beyond the scope of the client’s internal staff to address. Often, clients come to us requiring the answer to a specific issue. Our first step is always to fully understand the problem and the data available to us in solving that problem. Given the type and amount of data available, we then determine the appropriate methodology to solve the problem. Alternatively, in the case where relevant data doesn't exist or is not easily accessible, we would determine the optimal approach to collect the required data.
President and Principal Consultant
Joseph Strell has over two decades of experience consulting in the Information Technology and Information Security domains within the Healthcare and Financial industries. Possessing strong analytic and communication skills, he places great emphasis on communicating complicated concepts in a way that is easily understood by wide audiences. He has a degree in East Asian Studies / Economics from Columbia University in New York City. The successful approach he applies to consulting comprises the following key attributes:

- Analysis – Solving problems creatively using insight gained from considering alternate perspectives

In his spare time, Joseph enjoys sailing a Lido 14 racing dinghy, composing and recording music, and taking walks on the beach with his wife.

Seahorse Analytics is based in the Pacific Northwest's "Greater Seattle Area". Engagements typically include a combination of on-site and remote-based collaboration, and have included clients with locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Minneapolis, Chicago, Charlotte, and New York City. In size, our clients have ranged from small, independent start-ups to companies listed in the Fortune 500.
